Sooooo...I'm doing the housework avoidance thing today in a big way. In doing so I've managed to get myself sucked into E! Online. Specifically, reading Ted Casablanca's 'The Awful Truth'. Ohhhh that thing drives me crazy. I can't stop thinking about the blind vices, I'd really love to know who these people are. So now I'm going through my trash magazines trying to figure them out.

Slept til 8:30am..got up..had a cup of coffee..went back to bed and slept til noon!

Anyone remember that Ren and Stimpy episode with the Red, Shiny, Candy-like Button?
You won't touch it, will you? I totally would. I can't resist. So today I picked at the surgical dressing on the cheek side of my teeth. One end popped free at the first touch, but then it was flapping around and pulling at the part still stuck on. Which hurt. So I sloooooowly peeled it all the way off. And now it's sore and the ends of the stitches are poking me in the cheek. Great. Not at all like boiled football leather. |

Right now I'm supposed to be chaperoning our "Battle of the Bands"......but it's a mellow group this year, so I'm hiding in my office. Of course, I'm not hiding very well since the glow of my monitor gives me away. I swear, every year the bands get louder. It's the bands that are getting louder, right, I'm not getting older, am I? |

Yesterday when I looked out my window I noticed that there were a lot of butterflies flying around outside. I then went outside and saw that there were hundreds of smallish looking Monarch Butterflies flying down my street, all heading in the same direction. It was weird. Later in the afternoon I checked for them and I could only spot a few. I've never seen this before. I guess they were migrating, it was pretty cool. I wish I would have watched them for a longer period of time because now they're gone.
