agreed. Ive never been of the mind (or wallet) where the market would be a 'good quick investment return' option, although it can be if youre lucky and fairly well in-the-know. history proves its usually good long term in a generic sense, but the roller coaster thing can be scary. that and timing is everything.

So I'm bummed now... my company decided they only want to pay for one Photoshop license (my boss'), so they made me uninstall/remove/delete mine.
Pity, I did some good stuff on there, but I understand why, because I didn't use it *that* often, and CS is not a cheap program. (Naturally I made mention of the much-less-expensive-yet-still-nicely-functional PS Elements, for his future reference) |
Everything but the kitchen sink. Oh no wait, here's the kitchen sink.

Why oh why did my brain decide to hold out until I was in the middle of playing soccer on what feels like the hottest day of the year to recall this little tidbit...the company workout room (and thus the shower) is closed this week.
I'm spending the rest of the day working with a very not-so-fresh feeling. |
Just for today, I think I'm a bit less bitter about being an east coaster.
Ahh fresh air.... |
I dumped a bunch of stock options a couple months ago. Stock crept up maybe another 5% in the week following...now it's down 12% from when I optioned. Score baby! Pays for our trip in October.
