Totally jealous. I hope to see it during their next tour. I've already seen Billy Joel and he was fantastic.

I know someone on LoT has already seen the show, Erica maybe, but I never heard a review but you know it will be awesome.

She's going next weekend.

Have fun!

Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea. If you have to wear hearing aids anyway, add some bluetooth and integrate your cell phone needs.

I was WAY under 20 (and probably Zach's age) when I was a HUGE Elton John Fan.

Well yeah, but compared to the other music coming from the Victrola, or watching the horse drawn buggies go down the lane, that would have been considered cutting edge entertainment back then.

Just for the record, we all drew straws on who would get to make the old joke.

That was one of the most AWESOME nights of my life!! It was three and a half hours of nonstop music, seriously, no break. They both came out and played together. Then Elton played by himself and then Billy. To end the night they both played together again. It was amazingly cool!

Zach liked Elton John before because Gary is a huge fan but now it would appear that Zach is a big Billy Joel fan! He came home and started downloading his songs tonight! He leaned over during We Didn't Start the Fire and said "I'm downloading this as soon as I get home!" and he did plus a few more.

It was a little strange hearing Joel sing Eltons songs but it was awesome.

We saw them do their "Face To Face" show a few years back- great show, good long show- it was especially cool to hear them do each others music.

Very cool. Have you explained the Cola Wars line to him?

To get out of fighting the Cola Wars I switched to Canadian Club.
