Starting to sound a lot like Office Space, LOL.

He's loving it. I walked by him, and all he said was, "It still say it's not coffee making equipment. It's a fvcking packet holder."

I pointed out that the clip art "they" chose doesn't even look like our coffee machine, so clearly it doesn't apply.

Hmm, CP has access to a laminating machine at work. If he does start dripping coffee on it...

You're a towel!

So, the rejections are starting to pour in. Personally, I'd rather they not send them. I like the "we received your application and we'll call you if we're interested" postcards, but who needs a stack of rejection letters? Or rejection email, as I'm now also getting.

And they all say something like: "With your impressive qualifications, I'm certain you will have no trouble securing a clerkship position elsewhere." What a load of crap. Sure, hypothetically it seems possible, but empirical evidence shows that no one is the slightest bit interested in moi. So stop telling me how "certain" you are. If you have to say something, say something useful. "Your school isn't even in the top 50 -- what were you thinking?!" Whatever. Or say nothing. I could do without the puffery.

I'm PMSing.
I'm over-emotional today for some reason.
I'm grouchy one minute and not the next.
No, you're not.
Yes, I am.

:D

You COULD do it that way, but it seems far funnier to let him drip coffee on it and have the coffee "disappear" daily as the sign gets replaced by an identical, equally coffee absorbent paper sign

I got an email today from the Orlando Sentinel. The subject line said "It's Our Business To Know Everyone Else's!"

Or The Office.

I think Greg wins the yogurt-lid top.
Flonkerton, anyone?

Gemini Cricket 08-22-2007 02:21 PM

Ooooh! The Office.
John Krasinski! He's dreamy.
