That sounds really really good. I'm going to try that out... hmmmm... it is Sunday and I think we're just hanging out around the house. Might be something fun to try later today.

In poking around online for things like bacon candy, I came across Bacon Toffee.

The appearance is a little off to me somehow but I'm betting it's still very tasty. It does have bacon in it, after all.

I saw a Baconator commercial and thought of all of you. Best of all was the fetching bacon background on myspace one day last week. Imitation is indeed the best form of flattery!

Uh oh.

Brussels sprouts are the new bacon.

Wait. Hear me out. Even if you don't agree that mini cabbages will ever hold a candle to cured pork, you must admit that Brussels sprouts, like bacon before them, are the latest chic ingredient. Many restaurants are now serving them up tapas style, garnished with fresh thyme or sautéed lardoons.

So okay. Maybe Brussels sprouts aren't the new bacon, but they're certainly bacon's new best friend.
The rest is here.

BLASPHEMER!

Tattoo large red letters "BH" (for "Bacon Heretic") on your forehead and consider yourself forever banished from this thread.

You shall be burned over a large barbecue spit for your infidelity!
