Go figure, part of the reason I move back to CA is because Mom is getting up there in age and I wanted to be closer. This proved wise enough earlier when she had her surgery and her (as she calls them) little incidents. So much for sentiment, Mom is leaving me in the dust and moving to Hawaii with my sister!
Her originally planned trip was postponed, she got clearance to travel and is going to be staying there very soon. Go Mom! :) :(

Now you have a very good reason to go to Hawaii!

I had an itch to watch "Fellowship of the Ring" last week, and I did.

The itch was over long before the movie, so I don't think Netflix would have been an option.

I get those movie cravings too. Last one was the original Matrix.

There are disco versions of a lot of songs that should not have been "disco-ized". At the radio station I worked at in college, we had disco versions of both Stairway to Heaven and Whole Lotta Love. True disco. It was painful.
