OK - I've actually started to think about this now. Here's my idea, though it isn't set in stone.....

You all (or most of you) work. So Sunday would be the best day. So....

My wife and kids (well, he younger ones) will want to see the Parade of Dreams. Perhaps I can convince them to see it 315 on Sunday the 11th, and I can meet all you wonderful people while the parade is going on, and meet them at the end of the parade.

Thoughts? Is this something I should pursue?

Yes, it is. Because that is very doable. We won't even make you dress up in a tutu and dance while following the end of the parade (yes, wrong parade but the concept is funny).

Of course that is doable! Talk to the wife and see what she says and we'll meet somewhere close by - like Carnation Plaza by the bandstand perhaps?

Also, something to think about, we nice people here at LoT are REALLY GOOD about getting AND saving THE prime spot to watch Remember. You may want to take us up on that offer and see "Remember" how it is meant to be seen.

Very kind, thank you. We actually had that opportunity last summer. Sat on the curb of the main hub facing the castle. We got incredibly lucky. We were cruising the area an hour before the show looking for a spot and a lady hangs up her cell phone and says to us something like "That was my husband. He's at the hotel with two kids puking, so I'm going to go help him. Want my spot?".

Uhh....OK. Thanks!

CoasterMatt 06-03-2006 07:12 PM

Wow, she was gonna go help her husband puke? That's commitment...

Ralphie just looked over my shoulder and said, 'Who's Scaeagles?' He pronounced "scaeagles" like 'Scalia' or 'Scalito'. :D That's how I'm going to say it in my head from now on 'SKA-EE-GULLS'.

Lucky for you, you have a visit planned. ;)

Oh, and I always say SKAEguls.

I dunno- Scaeagles has me weirded out about meeting you internet people.....Wait a second! I'm an internet person too! For that matter, so is he......

Scaeagles, you are far more likely to meet weird, unsettling people in any of the dozens of lines you'll be encountering. The Swankers are really very fun, and they know the ins and outs of the park like no one else. We weren't even thrown out of Catal, okay? I think you (and your wife) would be pleasantly surprised.

Of course, if KB is there, all bets are off.:D

scaeagles 06-03-2006 09:16 PM

The proper pronunciation is S.C.A. Eagles. But that takes too long, so think of me however you will. I've heard those, and also someone has asked me if it is pronounced "Shay-gles", or if it some sort of Irish name (?).

WB, I do not fear anyone here. Except you. Only because you think I'm evil because I got Fantasmic Balcony and you didn't. So neener.
