1) I'll be there for the noon thingie.

2) GD, what time do you two figure on getting there? If someone will also get there noonish with me, perhaps there will be time in the day to get two fp's each, thus alloting one for me and my co-conspirator, and two for you two.

I just fret a bit about the later ride time we will then all be rockin' together with will be really late in the evening, perhaps too late for me to have my three forget-the-horror drinks at the Lounge on a Sunday night before workday Monday ... especially if you figure in the time it will take for my written complaint at City Hall, post rockin'.

I don't suppose there's any way you guys can, in light of your recent homeownership proximity, drop by the Park before heading off to your "relative's birthday" - and pick up a pair of fastpasses for later?

Gah. Too much going on Sunday. And I have no voice.

I'm probably not going to make it :(

Went on this thing last night with lots of aggressive, in-your-face suburban types that seemed excited by the changeover. Zero change to the outside of the building (it's now a building), queue, loading area, or employee uniforms. Half the lights in the upstairs queue area were not funtioning, dozens of people wandered around the painted "launch pad" smoking, talking on cell phones, and literally climbing the walls. The ride itself seems slower, the wall projections are lame, the music choice is in no way clever (or even loud,) in short, it's exactly what you should expect when Disney tries to be "edgy." And yet we line up for it. In droves. We line up for pirated Pirates. We line up for the Princess Fantasy Faire and Pocketbook Pillage. We are giving truth to the lie of "If it's good enough for Magic Mountain."

Every year I buy a premium passport, last year I bought a So Cal. This year I'm likely to do the same. I used to love Disneyland. Disneyland always gave me so much in return for my time and attention. I never felt badly for spending money. Now, I feel like Disneyland has turned into the opportunistic date that knows they're pretty, and knows that there are plenty of other guys who'll shell out cash if I won't.

I'll be at the park tomorrow. Noonish at the hub...
:)
I haven't decided if I'm going to ride Suckin' Space Mountain ever again though...

innerSpaceman 01-07-2007 09:58 AM

Heheh, will you help me get fastpasses for GD and CP then?

Not Afraid 01-07-2007 11:17 AM

I'm sick. I may show up later, but a ride on suck mountain isn't making my cold go away.

NirvanaMan 01-07-2007 11:25 AM

We'll be there round 1:30 or 2.

FYI on Saturday I got to Space around 2pm and FP were gone witht he Schwin. Wait time was around 60 min all night until close which took us about 20-30 min. :)

BarTopDancer 01-07-2007 11:51 AM

Can someone get me a FP too? I'm planning on coming by after my game (about 7).

Thanks!
