Has a single team ever lost this many challenges so quickly?

There seem to be more of the hand-to-hand challenges this season. If there are any Ulong members left by the merge, this could come back to haunt them.

Yes. I remember a season where a tribe started off by losing the first 7 challenges in a row. At least Ulong's got a couple reward wins under their belt.

I swear, I hope James makes it all the way, just so I can keep hearing him talk.

You know, I like James, but Tom was the better of the redneck hicks. I can understand too much of what James says, and half of what Tom said was incomprehensible.

My wife and I were wondering how a steel worker redneck will be razzed by his buddies for losing twice to a homosexual hairdresser. I will say Coby did surprise me quite a bit - not because he's homosexual, but because he doesn't look very strong or in very good shape.

But Tom would never say "sexiality".

He doen'st look exactly in shape, but it looked like he was a head taller than James and had like 100 pounds on him. Not a guarantee in Sumo as smarts and strategy can easily overcome size...but this is James. Smarts and strategy?

I can't believe the stupid girls on Ulong! I would have kept Kim just cause she's a girl..and let the boys know it's not over yet!!! Come on!!!!! DO you honestly think they are going to keep you Angie?

Bobby Jon's got some massive pent up anger building there...hmmm!

And I really would have liked to have heard the reasoning behind why Koror won the reward challenge over Ulong...even though I was glad Koror won!

Seems like they are starting to get a little snitty about Tom though....Please oh please keep Tom!

The thing is, all they would have had is a tie. And NO ONE'S risked a tie since the "rock pulling" episode. No one. That was what, 6 seasons ago? It's too risky. I don't even remember the mechanism, all I remember is that someone who was even being voted for at that tribal council got the axe thanks to the random rock draw. Since then, it seems to have become an unwritten rule, you don't risk a tie. And I don't blame 'em. In their shoes, I'd take a guarantee of 3 more day over even the slightest chance that someone would pull my name name out of a hat, or whatever the tie breaker is.

If I were on one of the tribes, I would certainly not build my shower inches away from the toilet. Not sure if that's why Koror won the challenge, but it sure makes sense to me.
What struck me last night was the comment that Willard made about Tom and Ian going out of their way to publically compliment every member of the tribe every day. That's good management. Smart.

That was just one comment from one person, and it was the not so likable chick with a bit of a chip on her shoulder. And her comment was that everyone else follows Tom diligently. I wouldnt' worry about him getting booted - he's a tremendous boon to the team and a good guy to boot. I'm really glad he and the young, tall, skinny leader guy (what's his name?) get along. A power struggle is always the ugliest. Have to say I'm rooting for the skinny kid. So cute, sweet, and geeky, just how I like 'em. ;)

Karen will go before Tom. She seems to be jealous that he gets so much respect when she gets none.

Part of the reward judging, Jesse was not able to move the Koror facilities when he shook them, with Ulong they didn't seem very sturdy. I also thought the Koror facilities were better made. They didn't offer up as much privacy but they used more wood. Also with Ulong's you had to worry about being knocked on the head.

BK, I said the same thing about Bobby Jon earlier, after one of the first challenges. That boy is going to go postal if he doesn't get booted first.

Didn't surprise me at all to see Kim go. When are people going to realize that sitting around being lazy is a very dangerous strategy. You don't have to be Superworker, but you better be doing something to stay under the radar. The only peron I can think of that didn't do much work and yet went all the way was Amber. And that was only because of her strong alliance with Rob.

I'm liking the challenges a lot more this season than last.
