Hmmm. This happens with Twitter all of the time, but I usually have better control over the "post reply" function here.

Of course, I don't remember what I was going to say. Something profound, I'm sure.

I was guessing something like "Also, I'm not going..."

I was going to sell some pins too. Maybe we had better price them individually...

Good luck to everyone. I am spending the entire weekend except for Sunday (that will be half of the day asleep) with my Jovi friends who are coming from Nothern CA starting this afternoon. Gonna do some sightseeing and eating out and talking Jovi today. :) If i didn't have plans i have tons of junk to sell. Oh well. Good luck.

If there are Disney collectors coming to the sale, my guess is you could double the asking price on the pins (except sets) and they're still getting a steal. Besides, that leaves room for negotiation if they ask for a "bulk" deal.

Like label all of them?

I'd be doing this until sometime in November if we did it that way.

Not Afraid 08-15-2008 10:13 AM

As far as pricing pins goes, my goal is to get rid of them and make some money. I don't mind being priced too low if it moves the crap out of my possession. I just don't want to undercut anyone else.

JWBear 08-15-2008 10:14 AM

How will the cashier know which pins are whos?

Morrigoon 08-15-2008 10:17 AM

I bet you could create paper "labels" by copying a price and initials in an Excel spreadsheet, copy and paste it into a bunch of cells, print up the page, and just pin the pin to the paper. Quicker than hand writing on stickers.

Not Afraid 08-15-2008 10:18 AM

I'm going to bag mine up after they are chosen by the customer then put a price sticker on the outside. It actually might be easier for me to just do the pin transactions myself.
