Unfortunately, Bill and I will not be able to attend. We both have colds. :(

I think we should start when it's midnight for the Lashpair and end when it's midnight for Gemini Cricket. That should cover it.

Last night, I decided I was too wiped out to even start on making my Salwar Kamiz for tonight.

However, I woke up this morning with a nice bit of energy, and some strange feeling that I needed to do it. I just finished cutting it out... without the use of a pattern or even pictures. I used a tape measure and a Sharpie to mark a few cutting points.

This is my very first project without the use of any kind of pattern or construction plans (like with the Yip Yip costumes). I can't wait to see how it turns out! And, looking at how it's pinning together... it looks to be a success so far.

Go me! :D

It's weird though - not sure where this little bit of knowledge is stemming from.
