Preparing is the key. It's just I'm not very good at it.

"Who Stole My Dead Husband?" closes on June 6th after a nearly three year run, and three years development in various forms before that. Most of the cast has been with the show the whole time. I've been for five years.

We may or may not re-mount the show in the fall. There may be a sequel in the works. In any case, a cast that has worked together for a long time will not be seeing each other every weekend. When asked how we can keep doing the show week after week, the invariable answer is that we love working with these people. It truly has become a family.

I've dealt with post-show depression before. This will be something entirely different.

It helps to have "Evita!" to look forward to this summer.

Think of it as the first of many awesome plays. There will be more that will make this seem like a bad porno.

I guess I shouldn't complain. That's a long time to be doing a show.

So, how's this for irony? Or maybe it's irony in a non-irony Alanis Morrissette "Ironic" sort of way...

I posted something on Twitter like "#prop8 we'll keep fighting, chin up, we won't stop until we achieve equality". So I get this response from this guy who says I'm stupid, there already is marriage equality for straights only and that's the way it should be etc. He tweets again saying I should try shock therapy. So, of course, I respond with some sort of snappy response. Then I click on his profile. Where is he from? Alabama. The play I'm in talks about not stereotyping people from Alabama and not discounting them by the way they look or sound. The play points out that lots of people in the south are open-minded, deep-thinking and pithy. So, how funny that I have some guy on Twitter proving us wrong? It's very funny.

HeeHee, take it as evidence the universe works in mysterious ways, but it works.

That thought tends to help me through the blues.

Bristol Palin's baby daddy (Levi Johnston) is sporting the latest in duck hunter fashion. He could be in our show. He's kinda cute, I'd be alright with that...
:D

He'd be cuter without the rifle.

In fact, why doesn't he just shuck that whole outfit entirely, and then let me comment on his cuteness. ;)
