My Great-Grandfather owned a saloon in Yakima. He had a pet bear that he kept chained up out front to attract customers.

Japanese gangsters? I'd be careful with that one.

Oh, dear. Well, you could always get some time in, then move on to someplace more attractive, like Fresno.

This one was NOT on your list.

Not surprising. Yakima isn't on ANYONE'S list.

Their big practice area is agribusiness stuff. Can't you see me doing crop damage litigation? Who knows - maybe I'd love it. At least I'd be close enough to drive back here to have Shaun cut my hair. Because Shaun is amazing, and my hair looks significantly less like I've just electrocuted myself.

I had the strangest dream last night.... there was a massive wind storm coming and everyone was getting prepared or getting out of town, and Cherny sent me to go pick up some potato salad from this gas station deli, and the guys there took forever and then tried to charge me $7 for it, which I perceived to be massively overcharging me, and then... I woke up.

Oh, and the area looked like a cross between San Diego's gaslamp district and the Valley... weird

wendybeth 09-14-2007 09:29 AM

Well, $7 for potato salad is a bit steep.;)

Capt Jack 09-14-2007 10:04 AM

it'd better be a buttload of 'tater salad
