Sigh. Then we can all say "we knew her when"

Good luck sweetie!

Nope, no socks. I was outside for all of 30 seconds, it wasn't that bad. I don't think it was raining all that hard, but the water pouring off the roof made it a thousand times worse. Of course, we knew about this problem from last winter, but completely forgot to contact the HOA about it over the summer. I suppose we should do that now.

How long do you have to fast? Good luck.
1 day, starting at sundown yesterday through sundown tonight. So far it's been an easy one.

Morrigoon 09-22-2007 11:23 AM

So the bacon fest begins at sundown then? Excellent :)

In other news, I'm very pissed right now. Got up early on my Saturday, and my client is incommunique... He was supposed to email me yesterday, never did, didn't answer his phone, and isn't answering his phone now. Dude, if you got busy just cancel the damn appointment. I had other clients who wanted to see stuff today that I pushed of till Sunday (so now I have to get up early on Sunday too).

Oh, and I think I need a new printer because mine is racist.

Yeah, right. If/when I ever go up for an Emmy, I will totally be planning a before and after swank party.

Goonie, I'm sorry about your client. :( And, do you need black ink for your printer? If you bring your cartridge over on your way to DtD today, we can refill it for you. :)

And, oh crap. It just started raining here. :(

Ghoulish Delight 09-22-2007 12:41 PM

Hell, rain started again. We're supposed to have some vine maintenance done today (a vine has grown up our patio wall behind a drain pipe and the HOA wants us to remove it), but doubt they'll come out with the rain. Damn damn damn.

MouseWife 09-22-2007 01:06 PM

Bad mojo for that inconsiderate client, Morri!!

DP~well, that is surely exciting!!! Ooo, and the mystery is exciting, too!

GD~ I can't believe you guys are having so much rain! We had a bit of it. It started up hard and fast....for about maybe 10 minutes? Then it was sunny. The Hubster left for a bike ride so I hope it is alright. Also, my son is out driving in rain for the first time so hopefully he is alright, too.

as well as Street Scene down at the Coors....outdoors...mmmm...wonder if Dirty Sweet ended up playing....

*sigh* sorry if I am babbling...to get away from here means to go and clean the house...oh well...doody calls....

Disneyphile 09-22-2007 01:20 PM

We were making a huge effort to clean our place up last weekend, but now that we might be moving, we've been rather lazy about it.

MouseWife 09-22-2007 01:54 PM

We aren't moving. {hey, I missed it, did you decide to buy? is it a possibility?} We haven't moved in about 11 years. So. We have a lot of crap. My house looks like one big giant teenagers room.

My son cleared out his room. I am now going through his things, I can't just throw anything away. I am not sure what to do with what we have. Ghost Buster toys, Mighty Max, Micro Machines, G.I. Joes, Hot Wheels.....no packaging. But tons of stuff. I think we should keep some things, I tell them they'll find themselves scouring swapmeets for these things when they are older.

And, the older kids have things out here for when they move. A desk, some sort of guitar amps {huge and I'm glad they have them but....}.

It just started to rain again. I hope the Hubster and the Boy are alright. He convinced him to join him for a ride out to Coronado....Better than my idea of taking him to Borders for an iced coffee and a book, I guess. Wait, that is what I want. :D

hee hee yes again blabbering and avoiding work. Hey, it's raining and I can't take any loads of crap out to my car.....

Oh, I actually have a question:

Does anyone know if the Grand Ca has a business center for its' guests? The Hubster says he has to answer some emails Monday and we don't have a laptop.....my son has a Psp with internet. Hey, and an internet thingie for his DS. Hmm. I guess we're going to have to figure something out. But,any ideas would be great!! Thanks!

I believe I have seen a business center for the hotel guests at the Grand Cal....I think that if you are coming from DCA, it's just inside the entrance to the lobby hallway on the right side, if that makes sense. Again, not 100% sure, but I believe that's what I've seen.
