Thank you, CP! :snap: At least I know to look for one instead of just thinking there isn't one. |
It's a rental condo that we're trying to qualify for. But, they're having issues with my being self-employed with no tax return on file yet, since it's been less than a year. So, they still haven't made a decision, even though I gave them 6 months of bank statements to show there's been income. The owners are being very anal retentive.
We won't be buying a house for a couple years yet, once the market is better. The place is great though - seriously much better than I imagined, and just one section of the patio is 10'x50', there's also a 10'x10' area and a 20'x20' porch area, all connected. It's also very secluded. I don't really want to post the pics, because the place looked like swiss cheese when I saw it, since they just finished up replacing the pipes and hadn't put the ceiling and walls back together, and there was scrap crap everywhere. It was quite the obstacle course, but thankfully, I could get the gist of how it's going to look. And, it couldn't be more perfect. It's just annoying playing this waiting game. |
That sounds huge!! Good luck!

We went to the local Greek festival today. I am stuffed. The guy manning the Greek Fries station looked for all the world like he just stepped off a piece of pottery - curly hair and everything. Some how a bunch of pastries and cheese and olives jumped in our car on the way home.

mmmmm.... Greek... yummy! I missed our local Greek fest again this year.

Greek food is awesome! I haven't had any in quite awhile. Yummy!

We've been adopted!
Her name is Pumpkin, she's a mostly white cat with orange spots. She tried to join us about a week or two ago, and we were hesitant to let her in at the time, in case she belonged to someone else, but we felt horrible keeping her out. She seemed very intelligent and friendly, but had no collar and was out very late (and seemed desperately interested in coming inside) Well, anyway, she DOES belong to someone, kinda. After asking around and talking to several people who also thought she was homeless, one of the little girls said her family owns her. I was surprised to find out that not only was she was not an adolescent (due to her size and skinniness, we thought she was), but she had had kittens who were now almost her size! Anyway, ever since the kittens, she won't stay home at their house, and she won't eat there. Which, I guess, explains her skinniness. The little girl basically said we could let her in, though I plan on approaching the mother if Pumpkin decides to stick around. Tonight is sort of the first experiment, because it's the first time since that Pumpkin came around our front door, and decided (since I allowed her) to walk in. If Barnum doesn't scare her off, that is. He's VERY excited to have someone else in the house. |
has anyone read their Fall edition of Backstage Pass from cover to cover?
remember, it's not the size that counts. |
