Fan-tastic!

Oh, I've been looking for a while now. There's been talk.

I think I might have to hate you for the day. WE'll have to chat. I want to know if my old lenses will work on that body.

They'd likely work, but one limitation is that the body doesn't have an autofocus motor, so you have to have a lens with its own autofocus motor (AF-S or AF-I) for autofocus to work. Otherwise it's a standard Nikon F mount, so any lens that fits an F mount should work.

blah blah blah, snowflake....

With my point and shoot it was remarkable how many crappy photos I took at DL, forget the fireworks at the Hollywood Bowl. I seriously need a tripod, bllllluuurrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyy

I've finally gotten fed up with the slow response of point-and-shoots. In many ways I love our little Pentax, but it absolutely sucks and anything low-light and it takes for ever to start up and take a photo. It'll be nice to be able to just take a photo within a second of wanting to.

That's one cool new toy. :)

Your new toy is my best friend's camera! (edited: I take it back, it's a Canon, though it does have lenses and it looks just like yours!!) It's paparazzi style when it takes pics.. and the pics are gorgeous. I think yours may have the same settings for pics if it's anything like her camera!

My BF took mine and B's Christmas pics a couple years back (if you got one, it's with the snowman) and the pictures turned out great. She also used it for last year's pics with the me and B w/ the white background.

She took pics in Hawaii with them and they were beautiful! Have a good time with your new toy!

Why am I always befuddled by dwindling account balances? Even when I pull up account activity with balances and can see it go down, I find it hard to believe it goes down as fast as it does when I didn't think I spent that much.

I hate being horrible at numbers.

I also hate banks for their outrageous overlimit fees, and for charging it for every $4 coffee you bought at Starbucks rather than once per day that you get overlimit (because, like I knew, right? You think I'd have put a latte on my card if I knew I was overdrawn?)

I'd have to look... I have SLR lenses, but thats the extent of what I know. When I bought my Nikon it was the cool one... alas... not anymore.

Green with envy mojo!

I think I am just a crappy photographer, can't really blame it on the digital, it's brand new.

Ugh. I called on the rental this morning, and they said they were still deciding and will get back to me this afternoon, one way or the other.

I hate this stupid waiting game. :(

Nice camera, GD. I'm eager to see the "beauty and passion" you capture in Chicagoland.
