Playing Far Cry on the Wii. Worked all day, then met Tori and her Grandma at the mall and had dinner at a very nice Asian restaurant, and then went shopping for fall clothes. Kid made out like a bandit, per usual.

Just got back from gaming. Found the kitty in the neighbor's front yard and brought her into the warmth. Now she's hiding in the kitchen.

I've been wondering why...

Isn't there something just cool about a cat in the home? I love our doggies, but I can't live without our kitties. To me, a house just isn't a home without a cat. My doc is convinced I'm allergic to them, but I don't give a ****- I'll always have a cat or ten around as long as I'm on this planet.

Have you re-named the kitty?

Morrigoon 09-30-2007 01:21 AM

I'm the other way around... home isn't home without a dog (preferably dogs). I'm really not a cat person, but I've kind of taken to this particular cat. Feel bad for her.

You'll wind up feeling sorry for her so much that soon everything she does is gonna be the cutest thing you ever saw. Trust me- my sis always had a dog, until last year. She is sooooo in love with her kitty- the first she's ever had, excepting all the ones I brought home when we were young. Don't get me wrong- I love our puppies, but our kitties rule the roost.

Was at home unpacking and getting my AV set up with the help of a friend. Chilled, ate dinner, drank wine, watched a movie. Very relaxing evening. But so much fun.

Ooooh! Garage sale! Are you perhaps selling any kind of shelf pieces (like a baker's rack) or a large bird cage? Maybe a sofa that is in much better shape than ours?

BarTopDancer 09-30-2007 01:53 PM

Target has some nice shelf pieces on clearance right now. At least the one in RSM did. I bought this for $35.

What kind of sofa are you looking for and what is your price range?
