I can top that

We're standing in the liqour store yesterday and the boy says

" Why did the Mexican throw his wife off the cliff?'
" I don't know why?", with a funny look on my face, as I look around us
"Tequila, get it to kill ya"

I said we'll talk in the car. So I ask where he heard that one and he says he just made it up:eek: We then have a long talk about prejudice and jokes, ugh!

I have to admit, for off the top of his head it was creative but it was not the proper place or time I guess for this old mom!

DP- Congratulations and good luck. Take a deep breath and it will all work out for the best. Have faith!

Dang, woman! Toot your own horn! Pull out all the stops! Remember you're wonderful! :)

...snip...
I really hope this show gets signed though. I'll earn about $15K per episode, and there are already 26 episodes written. Doing the math, I'd be a really, really, really, really, really, really, really, happy camper. ;)

You? A primadonna? Not likely! :) Tooting your own horn, about things you legitimately have done? Not a problem.

I hope you get signed, too!!!! I want to see your name on my screen! Then I can brag about how I actually do know you. :) My friend, the famous person.

What would be your title? :) T, ruler of everything? :)

I gave you mojo DP, but I don't think you need it.

scared ****less just means you're taking it seriously. good first step

and 'stretch it' is actually pretty easy and still being totally honest. you just need to change a bit of terminology

"I've dreamed about doing x projects"
in stretch speak "I have several projects currently in the early stages of development (give your thoughts)"
Not a lie. all projects start as an idea. elaborate on those and youre golden

:D

So far, the first draft really touches on my field experience and current projects. But, it really lacks some luster. I'm trying to figure out how to make myself sound more exciting.

Wanna make some industrial films real quick? ;)

Yay DP! I agree - toot your own horn. If there was ever a time, this is it.

How oddly true.

big big congrats, DP! I hope it comes through. It's very very good to be on "the radar". One meeting inevitably leads to another...
