I just got a wedding present! A cousin who couldn't make it to my wedding sent me these beautiful butterfly dishes by Lenox. IMMD

(of course it also reminded me that I'm WAY behind on my thank you notes...)

Don't worry. We're now over 3 years behind on ours. And, we custom ordered them too... just to sit in a box in the garage...

But, we do remember who gave us what, and think of them every time we use or look at their gifts. :)

Our new rescue kittens are making me very happy. Meet Greta and Mabel.

I LOVE Mabel's pattern, but I see Trouble in those eyes! Greta is also a cutie, but seems like the quieter one. But, who can tell from pictures.

ST. LOUIS—The City Museum here has a five-story jungle gym with two real-life jets kids can climb on. There's an enclosed "Monster Slide" that drops riders the length of three staircases, and a rooftop Ferris wheel from which visitors can glimpse the iconic Gateway Arch.
Pack me a bag, we're off to St. Louis!

That museum is one of the greatest places on earth- I'd LOVE to recreate it on my own property someday (especially the puking pig)
