some of us were just not that smart.

I want to be back BY the pool, this time with a cold beverage, and enjoying the sun.

Pools sound pretty good right about now. Really good.

The bath is just NOT the same as the pool. The inner tube just WON'T fit!

It is cold. I am wearing short sleeves and a skirt. I must have thought I was still in Palm Springs.

Why am I not still in Palm Springs!?!?

Stupid work clients. Making me adhere to contract. Grrr. Why can't I produce poolside?

Right now, I have two cats licking my toes. I dribbled a few drops of my chicken soup as I was carrying it to my desk. :rolleyes:

At least clean-up is easy. :rolleyes:

Just called the Boy to let him know there's a cat somewhere in our house.

She wasn't around last night, but this morning I found her in her favorite spot behind the neighbor's bushes. She knows now when I go out and walk Barnum, and I call for her, that if she gets up she'll be fed. But, being a cat, she can't just get up when I call her. She waited until after I went back in with Barnum, and when I was headed out the door (on time, naturally), there she was, waiting to be let in and fed. So I did, waited while she ate, expecting she'd leave with me. No sir. She was like "F*** you, it's cold out there!" and ran up the stairs. I imagine she's still hiding in the red room somewhere.

I barely even went in the pools...in fact only the hot tub and still, put me down as Palm Springs dreamin' as well. the quiet and company alone was well worth any small amount of effort I put in...which was to say the least, the least. :)

and yes, my house was indeed as disappointing as I knew it would be after such uber swank accomodations. it does however have me (somewhat) motivated to change that.
