I'm in love with "Learn to ski without spilling your martini"

I must try that one!

I am going to try and leave AFTER New Year's Eve, because I really want to do it one more time at NA & €'s house... but I have to be mindful of the schedule of someone who is supposed to be helping me. I think he'll have lots of time off, and hopefully can be here on the 1st. I may even move on the first after the all-nighter... That would be awesome... or not.

But the party usually continues until well into the evening of the 1st, so you will have to start on 1/2

I hate this waiting game. I can't go to the new place until the cleaning crew is out and the locks are changed at noon. The car's already packed with a few things, and I wanna go play house!!! *whine*

One thing I'm really looking forward to - my parents are getting us a Roomba as a housewarming present. It should be fun watching the cats run in terror, and it will be quite lovely having a consistently clean floor. :snap:

Don't worry. Noon will be here before you know it. :)

1. Given your past experiences keep a VERY close eye on that packed car.

2. Tying a few packets of catnip to the Roomba can drastically change the nature of that game....

Oh, definitely. The car is parked right below the apartment now, and I've got the window open. I don't trust this place for two seconds anymore. :(

Now that sounds like a plan. I was also thinking of tying a large stuffed mouse to the top of it.

See! If you lived out here on the bitter east coast you would not only be enjoying a truly glorious crisp fall day you would also have been chill-in in the new pad for over two hours now....

Yeah, but living here, I could have killed the time at Disneyland this morning. :p

Ok, I'm outta here. I need to stop by the grocery store and pick up some drinks to stash in the fridge at the new pad.

Huzzah for new pad!
