Hey, thanks!

Yeah, no worries, because by the time I went to Cafe Orleans to make ressies for Sadako, Purpledove and myself, the earliest we could get was 7:40, so my guess is, however long you were at dinner, we still didn't eat till after that. And since I was hanging with those lovely ladies, I didn't bother to follow up with you guys like I should have. So see? My bad too :)

Arrrgh...

I saw me some news I thought might be worth a spot of rum to some round these parts. It's about treasure. Shiny silver treasure to be found round these parts... Well least be it was.... and eye that be the real thing.

It took us 4 freakin' hours to get home!!! Actually the route I took wasn't much further than the normal shot, straight up the 5. I am curious to see what would have happened had we done the route the CHP was suggesting and not get off the 5 until the 14. *shudder*

Why didn't I know there was a f***ing marathon today in Long Beach that would cause many of the major streets in my neighborhood to be closed!

I didn't know about the Long Beach marathon until this morning, either.

It sounds like EVERYONE was having issues with the marathon. I went to school for a meeting on a competition I'm taking part in, and one of the girls was explaining that she couldn't even get to her house last night because they'd blocked off every road to get to it. Others mentioned that doing errands was an impossibility today.

It's times like this that I'm glad I'm in Huntington.

That was the ticket season seat holders had for tonights game against the Minnesota Wild. I was going to scan it at work tomorrow. There is a picture of Chris Kunitz with Lord Stanley's Cup in front of Nemo too.

we lost

In other news, I am exhausted. And I hurt.

Not to speak for BE - but that course doesn't block off a whole heck of a lot of businesses and residential areas other than PCH. The residential areas that are effected by it have other entrances and exits.

And it's not near her house. :)

Closed streets- take a bicycle. They'll generally let those through.
