It includes Herb Ryman Disneyland plans... original Snow White cels (with original backgrounds)... Mary Blair originals... Eyvind Earle Sleeping Beauty paintings. I'm gonna throw up...

And the Fantasia stuff, I am now throwing up.

Ok, I am in shock. I didn't know this at all. The really shocking part is that the story doesn't talk about the FLAVOR of Doritos at all. Um, anyone can bake a tortilla chip. Doritos' signature flavor is the big story here. How did that happen??

Somewhat ironically, the best thing at Casa de Fritos was the OMGDelicous chocolate cake. It was never the same once they switched to Casa Mexicana.

And for all it's vaunted better authenticity, I think Zocolo is a royal pain and haven't eaten there very much since it debuted years ago. I used to eat at Casa de Fritos all the time. :(

Here in Florida, it's impossible to buy a bag of original "Toasted Corn" Doritos. The Nacho Cheese powder-covered option is considered standard, and people look at me funny when I say I want unadorned Doritos. "Just get Tostitos," they tell me. Not the same flavor, I answer. Not the tortilla chip I grew up on in CA and New Mexico. Oh well, there are a hundred other Mexican food related items I can't get here in Orlando.

Zocalo has what I suspect might be the worst guacamole ever

lashbear 07-20-2012 12:46 AM

Morri: I heard they scrape the salad-bar scraps into a cuisinart and *voila*

This is, a joke, of course. Disney would never do such a thing.

The secret to its awfulness is they make it with avocado.

alphabassettgrrl 07-21-2012 02:29 AM

Well, if you hate them, it leaves more avocado deliciousness for the rest of us.
