Looking for a job, getting 2nd interviews just to be turned down, Monterey is gloomy grey & overcast... Bleh.

Dude, I'm freezing my ass off in Upstate NY. It's supposed to be like -20 F with wind chill on Friday. Get a lamp or something. :p

Right there with you, wendybeth! I had a tooth drilled last Wednesday and now it HURTS. Dentist adjusted the bite today and we're hoping that's it and it's not my FOURTH root canal. (And I'm only just 30.)

Yeah, I've just decided to roll with it. Weepy music and alcohol, that's what I say!!!

All the while realizing I always get like this in the dead of winter... down, introspective, picky about everything, as you said, bleh. I'm doing my best Scarlett, as I am after all a Southern girl. I'll deal with it tomorrow. Because, after all, tomorrow is another day {sniff sniff}

And the job search? Ugh Best of luck to you there. It can be trying.

I would rather have the -20 F winter with the possibility of having a hot summer than just having fog and 50 F all year round.

Yes, a friend of mine pointed out that I get like this every winter. She's right. Monterey's okay, now Hawai'i... that's better! :)

There doesn't seem to be a job opening anywhere in Monterey. I've been to 2nd interviews for jobs that barely need a first interview! They just need to pick a monkey and that's it. No, but someone who thinks their job is more important than it is has to scrutinize everything. And then, like BarTopDancer was saying, have a meeting about me and then say, 'No thanks.'

I think even my dog Frodo is depressed. I'm rubbing off on him. Wow, it must be bad! :D

Yep, tomorrow. Scarlett was right. But at the same time, she was loaded and didn't need to find a job. She just needed a new husband from time to time. :D
