Institube Paris Terror Club.

They're on one version of the Coachella lineup list as appearing and featuring (among others) "Orgasmic". However on the latest lineup, there is simply "Orgasmic Curses". From what I've pieced together, it seems that it was probably a bunch of D.J.'s of that run in the same circle that were all going to show up, but most have dropped out (seen it happen many a time for parties).

But I digress. They're a definitely a noise act. Serious noise. But they've got something that keeps me interested. I don't know if I could hang for a full set (or even part of a set) at Coachella. Rather, I know I could hang, but it would require seriously committing to being okay with really really noisy music for 30-40 minutes. Like, noisier than I was even listening to when I was still going to parties. It's definitely "either you're in or you're out" type music. I'm guessing I won't be in the mood to take that kind of abuse (and I mean that in the best sense of the word) in the middle of the desert with a dozen other acts I want to see.

"Wicked Wanda" from Real Emotional Trash by Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks.
An early contender for album of the year in the mousepod house.

This song goes to radio on the 17th & will be available for purchase on the 25th.
Yet somehow it appeared on my computer a couple weeks ago. ;)

I dunno, Jason. I think Vampire Weekend has the upper-hand (they are what I came in to post.) But Werewolf Bar Mitzvah trumps all.

"Boys becoming men... men becoming wolves..."

I am also listening to the Puppini Sisters.
