My thanks to our lovely hosts NA and €M, I had a wonderful evening.

And to the poor folks who had to endure the KB/SM Snore Chorus, my apologies.

Things I learned at this year's festivities:

1) Feather boas shed. A lot.
2) I can fit an astounding number of faux pearls in my cleavage.

It was a blast, as always.

It was weird sleeping at home and coming back for bacon but wearing PJs made my ruse convincing enough.

The speakeasy was teh swank! Thanks, NA and €, your home is such a lovely place to observe our special NYE traditions. Bacon candy, birthday cake, pants-drop, Andres, etc. Twenty, twenty, twenty-four years ago, I would've been sedated. It's always nice to be awake for these things!

(Among the things I missed: Flaming Joe, Steve and Isaac's traditional late Grand Entrance, Australians on skype, Love Brownies - mebbe next year!)
