I was in desperate need of some desperately needed humor. YouTube answered my prayers with this. World Burping Champion (Warning! If watching this at work, you might want to turn down the volume; but then again, if you do, you're going to miss the point; so maybe wait until you can witness this at full volume. It would be even better with Dolby THX surround sound!)

I think this deserves some kind of YouTube Oscar for Best Soundscore. It perfectly underscores and magnifies the intensity and drama of this documentary.

Then I thought...maybe someone at YouTube should develop an "Oscar" awards. Perhaps they could call it the "Two Thumbs UP" award and hand out bronzed two thumbs up. They could develop catagories like the Academy Awards do, but let the viewers cast their popular votes for the best.

Then I imagined what kind of fashions I'd see scrolling down the red carpet.

The Evolution of Dance Party

I have no idea if this was planned or spontaneous. I'd like to believe it was just a spur of the moment thing. Strangers all coming together and dancing just for the fun and silliness of it.

This is an infomercial for something. I'm not exactly sure what for... however, it has super cool fast driving (like I do in Burnout Revenge only better and for real), strangeness, and more fast driving. (once you get to it anyway).

I rather enjoyed the warning label - do not resist!

For some reason I found this from Craig Ferguson's show last night to be way more amusing than it should have been.

Gotta love the commitment. The choreography made that.

I think my favorite moment was at 2:06.

The most impressive part is that it's on the side of a steep hill.

This is kinda interesting, though you may not want to watch all of it. We're big fans here of the movie musical version of Li'l Abner. The movie was shot for the widescreen VistaVision process and its cinematographer framed its images accordingly. But when they run it these days on Turner Classic Movies, they use a print that has not been cropped for VistaVision format; that shows more of the top and bottom of each shot than was intended. As a result, you see a lot of boom mikes and lights and tops of backdrops and such. Someone has compiled about eight minutes of these cropping malfunctions...
