Pirate apron

That's right. Pirate. Apron. It's a pirate apron.

Agreed. Go Ducks! But not the ones from Oregon.

I sooo don't want to be at work today.
I guess one could tell that by how much I'm posting here today.
Everything that I need to schedule has been scheduled and now I'm just waiting for things to get done.
Grrr....
And, I'm not the only one who feels this way today.
I passed two desks and both people were surfing the net.

I'm craving a 2-week vacation. It's been about a year since I've had 5 days off in row. I've got a proposal to revise and production schedules to complete, but what I really want to do is hit the batting cages. Bah!

I know that I can hardly complain, since I had a month off (a stressful month, but off nonetheless.) Excepting the Columbus day holiday, I haven't taken a day off since I got back and I'm also jonesing - just for one.

libraryvixen 10-23-2007 02:11 PM

I took a short vacation, but I'm not sad about wanting to take more!

I'm becoming increasingly convinced that big budgets and technology diminish the motivation to create good content (as evidenced by the decline of video game playability).

I've noticed it with movies.

Could use more prayers for my mom - her infection still isn't healing after a month of antibiotics, and now her platelets have dropped to ~8. It's about the lowest they've ever been and she's been hospitalized at 15. But she won't go to the hospital, she says.

Hugs and healing to you and your mom. Hang in there.

Gah. Count me in that crowd. When we moved every couple of years (or more often) it was easier because everything got thrown out at intervals. We've been here for almost 10 years now and I'm very afraid.

Ouch! I hope the damage is low.

I'm on vacation. Well sort of.

Just keep some s'mores ingredients nearby, and it'll count. ;)
