So it's after midnight and my flight leaves before noon tomorrow - I need to pack!

You're a guy. What's to pack? One pair of emergency undies and a selection of CDs and you're set for weeks. And if you go commando, you can skip the undies and pack more CDs.

Chris arrived in Chicago last night and checked into the hotel. He won't tell me too much about because he wants me to "experience it for myslef". Hmmmmm. He did say it was very swanky though.

I'm pretty much packed for my flight on Wednesday. I had to pack with Chris because he's taking the big luggage and I knew there were a few things that wouldn't fit in my smaller luggage. Surprisingly, only one pair of shoes and a denim jacket went on ahead. It is easier to pack in a smaller suitcase when it is 90 degrees at your destination. :rolleyes:

For the first time in serveral months I have the a/c off and the house opened up!! I feel like crap so I have already planned an easy meal for tonight...Nuked lasagna and garlic cheese toast. I am really craving an enchilada casserole but am in no mood to go to the store or do any serious cooking, so it will have to wait for Wed night. I did make the garlic butter, all that is left is to stir it every 20 mins until it cools, and add in the parmasan cheese.

So I guess I'll tease you with a few tidbits

• the hotel has a soundtrack, you can buy it for $13.00. That's one way of bringing music to something.
• Our room has a black furry cube
• Bacon wrapped, Chorizo stuffed, dates

Wednesday. Wednesday. Wednesday.

Who among us hasn't had a chorizo stuffed date? Hell, I had two of 'em Saturday night.

Soooooo, my Big Orange Boy has been scratching his eye and, rather than leave for Chicago with this happening, I have cancelled my plans for the day to be a responsible mommy. I'm sorry I won't see my friends today. We'll have to reschedule after I get back.
