Hey, don't be knocking Bacos. Or turkey bacon for that matter. It's the closest you can get if you're keeping kosher. It ain't the same but it gets you by.

Where did you see that Alton's are decals? The one I am thinking of has a course-textured surface which is not conducive to decals (this is the same machine Susan has). All of the decals on Amazon (referring back to Morrigoon's post as well as the link above), would not work on this type of surface.

And how do you get dime sized chunks of syrup? I don't know that I want chunky syrup.

It's sugar, so you can make it harden. I believe the syrup chunks should melt when the pancakes cook.
