I sure the place has it's defender's. My beef is that they use shredded rather than sliced brisket and provide NO DIP. They spoon a bit of sauce on and that's it. In fact they refuse customer requests for a side of dip.

No. It was a place in Fullerton - SW corner of Rosecrans and Euclid. I don't recall the name of the place, but it has been closed for years.
