So) I got off work and went back to the Hotel only to arive at the same time as some trade show party at the 33rd floor. There was a line in the lobby going out the door just to get to the elevators. So I'm now at the bar posting from my PDA, drinking a Manhattan thinking about how humiliating it is wearing a work logo shirt in such a swanky place.

Bah, try it the other way around. You may be wearing a work logo shirt, but at least you're drinking a Manhattan in a swanky place!

Heh after the first Manhattan I stopped caring - I guess I'll have tapas for dinner tonight.

Jack Update. He's fine now. It seems he has sensitive eyes and gets "something in his eye" on occasion that drives him bonkers. I think it's car hair. That's what always gets in my eyes. :rolleyes:

Heh - yes after the third drink the route was clear to the elevator and I made my break to change my shirt - though now I think I may stay here a bit. Though the bartender said I should come down later and have another drink or appetizer now that I finished my homework (posting from my PDA) - they are open till midnight. Maybe I should check my wallet again to see just how much I really tipped him...
