Tonight I made one of the recipes I got out of my mother's recipe box: Round Steak Casserole. It was old - written with a fountain pen! It was quite tasty! I don't remember her ever making it when I was growing up, which is strange.

And you are not posting the recipe why?

I have the major Christmas present for The Boy out of the way. I had to drive to Visalia to get it, but it is done. He is getting a Wii. Those things are impossible to find in Bakersfield. I left it at The Old People's house, so that He can't find it and so that I can't open it.

Wow. Wii's are definitely hard to find. Way to go. Good idea where to put it. In your position I'd be tempted to open and play it too. I wonder who will be more excited on Christmas morning, you or him. LOL

As for me I am hoping for a new computer and Disney gift cards to help with the trip I am planning out your way next year.

I'm posting this from my new moto q. So far I'm loving the phone, but I'm keeping my eye on what might be a couple of show-stopper bugs that will have me returning it. I hope they don't reoccur because it's an otherwise excellent device.

Do you use Goodlink? What Q do you have (is it all black or black and red)?

We discovered how hard it is to get one in June, before Tori's birthday. It's worth the effort, though- they're fun!

Five weeks of classes left. That's it. Five weeks, and then finals.

Damn... I mean, 3 and a half years, and I'm down to 5 weeks.

Must. Not. Panic.

338 new posts? Geesh, I'm offline for a couple days, and you all become more active. I'm starting to get a low-esteem issue here. ;)
