Just picked up Guitar Hero III. And played for the last hour and a half solid. I approve

You're in good company, then ;)

My brother loves Guitar Hero. He plays it all the time.

I did get the extra nunchuck. His birthday is December 6th. I don't usually get him a large gift for his birthday, we try to go somewhere instead. Right now finances are tight, so I may just go pick him up some Spy Gear stuff he has been bugging me about.

Tori is playing it right now- she really does well, especially considering she can't hear a lot of the notes! This is one game where visual acuity helps a great deal. She just got a near perfect score on 'Paint it Black', my theme song.
:D

I just finished setting up my digital cable to work with my TiVo. Once I read the instructions it worked flawlessly. Funny how that works.

I've watched my brother play. I can tell already that I wouldn't be able to play it. I understand why the notes on the screen are coming out in different directions...like the different locations of the notes. However it would be easy if they were in a straight line with the color coding instead.

Can't do that because then you couldn't play chords

You're absolutely right. I can definitely understand that. That's why I can't play it. Too hard for my eyes to focus on all those notes all over the screen.
