Lounge of Tomorrow

Basically the Perfect Employee got her way and I was fired last night. I knew it was coming, so I wasn't totally surprised. I had already talked to the Director of Operastions and he told me I could use him as a reference. He had also told me I was way too qualified to be there.

I was being held to rules that no one else had to follow, between the lockdown of my internet access and then a bogus write up last week.

I feel bad for the newest girl, she was handed all of my orders and told that they were now hers. I had just gone through them all on Saturday, so all she will need to do is collect payment.

I was told that I didn't do anything to contribute to the "team", and that I caused too much office drama. Well, it is funny that they all seem to know that Perfect Employee is the drama causer, but yet she is sitting pretty.

I know I will be much better off. I enjoyed what I did, but not the environment and empty promises.

I applied to a few places last night and today I have a lead through another temp agency. While my mom is worried for me, she is being totally supportive, so financially, things won't be much worse than they are now.

Today, when the phone is ringing off the hook they may realize what they have done. I took the majority of the phone calls. They are almost out of paper, I was getting ready to order it when the axe fell. I did all of the ordering of office supplies. When the warehouse needs their labels for dishes and glassware, they will be screwed.
