I don't know but they've been around a long time. Lani tells of making them for elementary school kids visiting Sea Life Park in Hawai'i back in the early/mid '80s.

I was never into the extreme bodymodification myself but was on the fringes of it at one time. What is surprising to most people is that generally these people are otherwise very "normal." Yeah, some seem to have some larger mental issues but most of them are just kinked in a very specific way.

I'm still waiting for a modern form of branding with enough precision that I can enact the bodmod plan I would go for.

I have a couple friends who like to go to "piercing parties" and such, but the few "samples" I saw on that site are way beyond anything they'd even do.

Ok i can breathe again and life goes on i got my Bon Jovi tickets for all 3 southern california shows from the fan club tonight. Excited to get the wristband to go on side of stage for 3 songs for two nights out of the 3 yay...ok april can't come fast enough now....

Because I didn't feel crappy enough - the state AG's office has officially rejected me. If even the state, for which I've already worked for 9.5 years, doesn't want me as a lawyer, I think that's probably a pretty bad sign.

Don't give up. Something great will come up.
