I have thought about getting another job in retail. The problem is that I would only be willing to work on the weekends that I don't have The Boy.

Here's a new experience...

You know how sometimes after eating something tasty, the taste in your mouth makes you want more, so you have to eat something else to get rid of it?

Well, I had to eat chocolate to cover the taste of soup.

Should've made more soup. That was the last bowl from that batch.

When things are really wonderful and something bad happens, the bad thing seems so much worse then if things were already mediocre or downright sucks. I hate that.

I was wondering why the phones were so quiet and then I realized that today is Veterans' Day. I guess people took a 3 day weekend...

Traffic this morning was heavenly!

Finally got my ultrasound appointment (no, I'm not pregnant). They told me I have to drink 32 oz. of water within one hour prior to the appointment without using the bathroom.

Now, there's a challenge!

As if I wasn't already apprehensive enough about the whole ordeal. :rolleyes:

32oz. That's one Big Gulp's worth of water.

Four 8 oz glasses of water in one hour? No too bad.

Oh, I can certainly drink it. The problem is not using the restroom until after they are done. And, if this place is like any other office, I'll be sitting for an extra hour. And, the process will be challenging enough, considering they'll be pushing around in that area as well.

I'm so not looking forward to next Monday.
