Out of the 247 posts in that thread, I count approximately 81 posts by people whom I consider conservative. Our classifications may vary (I really didn't examine those with only one or two posts), but like I said in a previous post, I only know of four regular posters (myself included) who are of a more conservative slant. I will not name others - that is not my business.

But I point you to this post

Oh just admit it: you are an extremist bleeding heart liberal :p

And yes: I am just joking!!!

Gee perhaps we should setup a poll so we can all vote on those names as either "conservative" or "enemy combatant" It might be the only way to settle this...

For those who have over 3 posts, I would say there are 9 liberals and 11 conservatives. (I'm not counting frequency, just participation.) I count the more libratarian leaning and conservative and the wafflers as liberal.

That is probably very true.

Reminds me of an old George Carlin bit. I'm paraphrasing, but it was essentially:
Have you ever noticed that anybody driving slower than you is an idiot and anybody driving faster than you is an a**hole?
Maybe anybody to the left of me is a liberal, regardless of my or their actual stance. While I hold many conservative viewpoints, I also fiercly defend many liberal positions as well (abortion, gay marriage, etc.)

Whereas by my interpretations, I only see three that I consider cons. But then, I don't pay too much attention to the political threads these days and definitely don't keep score.
