Until that time, it wouldn't look too bad on the kitchen counter. I bet it would do a number on slicing bread for toast.

So how do you look up how many posts you have in a thread?

Capt Jack 11-14-2007 10:37 AM

all those things can be done with hand tools dear. yeah, those make it easier but nothing more rewarding than sweat of the brow and creating something from scratch.

not to mention getting to keep all your fingers. :D

Go to the forum listing and click on the post count total in the "Replies" column.

Groovy tunes. Thanks. 816 for me. Loserville! :D Not as Loserville as Kevy, though. He's King Loser of Loser Mountain.

Morrigoon 11-14-2007 10:47 AM

Haha, Kevy's almost a loser in this thread!

(578 for me)

I maintain that this stuff is a waste of money. If you buy a $50 chop saw, you'll get a $50 chop saw - a piece of crap. It will probably never cut straight, square, or consistent.

Sign up for a woodworking course at a Community College. This will give yuo access to good equipment as well as technical assistance. I know that Fullerton College has a good program, but I do not know when the classes are. I am enrolled in a class (as I have been for several years) at Mt. San Antonio College. It is in Walnut (quite a drive for you), but classes are on the weekends. The instructor (Robin) is a bit gruff, but you get a lot of freedom to do what you want.

Um, yeah... I was hoping no one would look at that :(
