One of my straight guy friends asked to go on the trip with me. He's such a cool guy. He said, "Take me along with you on your trip. I mean, wouldn't you want someone strong to protect you over there from whatever might hurt you? I could do that." You know, my straight guy friends just shouldn't talk to me like that. I mean, my gay ears can't take such nice talk. It made me melt a little. And, yes, he's straight straight straight. Dammit.
:D

Okay, before I go doing something retarded:

This seems too simple, so I'm clearly missing something. At home depot I found an abrasive blade that fits my circ saw and cost ~$2. The guy said it cuts metal. The blade says it cuts metal. Is this thing going to be able to cut through a 1 1/4" diameter chrome pipe? How many cuts before it's destroyed? Do I need to go buy an actual metal cutting blade?

It just doesn't seem right that a $2 disc will work.

I'm sure I don't know. But make sure you wear safety goggles.
That is all.

Thanks Norm.

Assuming that the walls of the pipe are reasonably thick (I am guessing a drain pipe or something similar), the abrasive blade will take a LONG time to work through. You are better off getting the real thing.

Either way, cut slow and if possible, use a lubricant (like WD40).

And screw the goggles. Goggles are for wimps. Be a man!

He wears his goggles like a good Bob Vila. :)

The fan is SO MUCH quieter in that bathroom. This is the one thing I've wanted to fix since the moment we moved in. YAY!!! :D My husband is awesome.

I'm trying to think what kind of home improvement project I can guilt Chris into doing this weekend.

My sliding glass door is finally fixed. It took all day, but it is working better than it ever has.
