Another one was on CNN.com this morning, I guess it isn't wrong but it's weird:
"Three boys, 8 and 9, rape 6 year old girl"

Is this a new one? I saw the one about 3 boys who raped an 11 year old girl.

Wow, is that right, 15 free movies???? Wow!!

No, it's the same story.
Oops

Well, either way it is mind blowing. On the news this morning the father of one of the boys, a smaller one with a broken wrist, claims it isn't true, that how could these boys overtake her, an 11 year old. So, now, this girl is being blamed? They spoke with her and her mother, their faces not shown.

I don't know....it just makes me ill.

They are new (2 feedback this month) but I have a bad feeling about it. I had a bad feeling before I saw that they had only had a 2 rating.

I'm sitting on my reply until I can decide if I want to block the user from bidding. I have a feeling that there are going to be payment problems if she wins.

Phone? What type? Does it have a keyboard? Is it unlocked?

Disney/Pixar is exclusively Blu-Ray, so it looks like Blu-Ray wins in this household (at least for now). This weekend, Wal-Mart will be having a "secret sale" - $499 for a 80GB PS3 with 10 free movies (plus 5 more by mail). But is it worth spending the $$ for a game console that I will probably never use for anything but movies? Should I just buy the movies and wait for a cheaper player after Christmas? Should I wait for Blu-Ray to lose the format wars and pick up the Disney movies when they come out in HD-DVD?

I know that this is a ridiculous dilemma - but does anyone have any opinions?

I also went blu-ray (Samsung) for much the same reason (Disney). The PS3 does get good reviews as a blu-ray player (except the fan is a bit noisy some say).

Note: The '5 free' movies are from a rather small list and you only get one from line one, one from line two, etc....

Walmart just had an HD-DVD player as their door buster for $199.00 so you might get blu now and then wait for another special like that to pickup an HD player.

I will say that Nexflix has been great sending me Blu-Ray's. I just sent back Transformers.

Thanks bluerica and BTD. I will take your advice. It's not worth standing around in the cold for hours and then not getting one. That would not be swanky.

It would be stanky.

Not counting the five via mail (because of Moonies' comments), if you count the movies as a value of $250 (10 x average of $25 each), this brings the net price of the unit down to $250.00. Sounds like a winner to me.

In fact, I may do this as well: what are the details? I couldn't find anything on the web site (the only Secret Sale Special was on a Kitchen-Aid, which Susan already has).

Razr. No, and no.

Trust me. If it would have worked for your needs I would have offered it up to you first ;)

My roommate did the exact same thing, except off of Amazon for the exact same reasons. The choices in movies suck, so if you are going to do it, do it for the player, not the movies. But no, if you can get the game console with the player that meets your needs then go for it. If you decide to get a regular dvd player in the future you can sell the console.
