Lounge of Tomorrow

I woke up (after the first time in a week of getting 8 hours of sleep).

Filled out a card and arranged it alongside a rose and a box of candy next to Matthew. It's our fourth anniversary together.

Put water on for coffee

Read the LoT.

It's sizing up to be a good day. :)

Now, if only we could transport ourselves instantly and molecularly to San Diego so I didn't have to sit in traffic for two hours each way, it would be perfect.

I woke up....late
downed a cup of coffee
took care of a dog, 4 cats and some fish
came home
got more coffee
Now, I'm sitting on the couch reading LoT with a sleeping pug next to me.

I don't have to move again until 6 pm.

Woke up at 8:30. Stupid neighbors.
Went back to sleep till 10.
Washed pants (thanks Pru!)
Showered
Sittin here deciding when to start boiling potatoes so I can get to my friends house by 1.

I did Black Friday twice about 3&4 years ago (buying, not working). I will never do that again unless I can save hundreds of $$ on big ticket items (if I had the cash for such items!).

-sex
-cleaning up after a couple of messy hounds
-feeding the hounds (and the cat)
-mopping my floors
-tea
-and now LoT

Later- movie and dinner at a friend's house.

Dressed and packed for two days in the Valley
Watched football, switched to the Macy's parade for 2 minutes, learned that the parade is still god-awful, switched back to watch commercials instead
