Thanks everyone. I shall go shopping in my closet once again and see what I have to go with the pants.

Gap. Chocolate brown cords, boot cut stretch $19.99.

I'm . I'm responsible for Mrs. mhrc4 ending up with two pairs (in differnet colors). I was able to resist since I didn't like the other colors.

So, apperently I lack the skills to fix the lock on the back gate. I thought my improvised use of used brick as a bludgeoning tool might do the trick, but alas I was wrong and there's a trip to Home Depot in my future.

You require the talents of a skilled Meatsmith.

Yesterday was very productive in the Mousey house. David "borrowed" our neighbor's spare remote for the garage door, and all is working and reprogramed. He is no longer allowed to have a remote in his car (since he has issues keeping his car locked). He also managed to mow the front yard and seed it with winter rye. I managed to do a half-assed clean up of the living room to keep him happy and to keep Nickolas from having any of his Yu-Gi-Oh cards tossed.

Nickolas left to go to a friend's house only to show back up 10 minutes later to ask if he could go to the hockey game. After making sure that he WAS invited and didn't just invite himself I told him he could go. He went back over there a happy camper. Then he came back 15 minutes later to tell me he was asked to spend the night (these are the same friends he spent the weekend with after Jimmy's incident). Of course I told him he could go. At 5 my house was invaded by little boys trying to decide what Game Cube games needed to accompany him. I got him changed into warmer clothes, gave him a pillow and he was off.

David and I went to a BBQ at Dawn's new house. She and David made peace (bad scene last weekend) so things are much better in that area. We got home and enjoyed some "us" time. He went night night and I have been awake ever since. I think I ate too much and my tummy isn not used to red meat. I mostly cook chicken around here and we had tri-tip for dinner.

Hoepfully I will be able to get some sleep today. hehehe One of the things on David's self made list is to clean the kitchen. If I go back to bed it should be clean by the time I wake up (if I time it right).

So...I have completed my Christmas shopping for my neices. Tuesday I will take my mom to Target so she can complete her shopping for the girls and Nickolas-she has everyone else taken care of already. Friday a friend is going with me to Santa Clarita to the Disney store so that I can get Nick's Santa present, 3 Premium AP's for next year. I didn't want to order them online so I went on a search for the closet Disney store. Santa Clarita is an hour closer than Fresno-which for some odd reason surprised me.

I already took care of his main Christmas present from us (Mario Party 7 for GC) and his b-day present (Pokemon game for GC). Now all I need to get him is some small stuff and he will be done. I have been getting him stocking stuffers since August.

I think I am going to get David a Robopet or Roboraptor for Christmas. Last year I got him the Robosapien.

My parents are pretty easy. They get pissy if we do too much so they will end up with some edible goodies.

I have to wait to shop for the inlaws until after Thanksgiving, when we get their lists.

Now the challenge is going to be NOT getting my neices anything else.

So the third time's the charm, and this time the furnace guy actually showed up. (Third company - I didn't give the first or second one's another shot at lousy service.) A personable fellow who talked my ear off for 90 minutes. Wasn't a bad was to spend an afternoon. He kept bringing up current events being discussed on the LoT, which gave me a weird sense of deja vu. (Is it still deja vu when one conversation is face to face and the other is virtual?) I think scaeagles has a doppelganger working up here doing heating and air conditioning.

Sort of, but not with this. Once it really hit home that I would be out of a job by Christmas-one way or another, I started looking for sales and small stuff to get Nickolas. Then I started planning things out and budgeting. Then my mom got a burr up her butt about wanting to get everything done RIGHT NOW, so it got me started. Since I do most of her shopping and plotting for her I picked stuff up for me as well. I usually do this for her every year, but with her eyesight declining and the kids needs getting more and more technical it is just easier this way. The main difference is that since we owe The Old People $5400 for our a/c unit, I am not taking any money from her and just writing it off of what I owe. They refuse to take any cash from us, so this is also my way of paying them back.
