1999 posts.

Just before I go off and post my "Double Loser" thread, I need you to know that 1999 was the year of my SECOND visit to the USA and Disneyland.

It was also the year I met Stoat and started dating. Love ya, hon.

Where have you been? She's been on for a while.

Ron, you should send a picture of your kitty to the DL people. Maybe they'll have you fly down to be the grand marshall of a parade like that beagle who had a Mickey on its side.

Rachel Ray has her place. No she's not a chef, she's never claimed to be. But anyone who's familiar with the target market of her origins, Food Network, can recognize that the targets are the people who aren't professional chefs... they're the mom or dad at home who wants to try something new. Rachel Ray is an every-woman. Over-bubbly and annoying, I'll give her that, but she's not a model, she's just someone with a great idea (saving time with 30-minute meals), who helps women feel like they can "do it, too." And yeah, I'm really sick of seeing her face plastered everywhere... ;) In other news, I have an exciting job prospect in Utah coming to fruition!! Whee!!
