How'd the West side fare? Our roads are a mess, and we're supposed to get another storm tomorrow.

Not too bad. We had some snow yesterday at 2am when I woke up and peeked out the window, but it turned to rain by the time I got up. Then, as we were leaving, it turned back to snow. It was too damp for accumulation, though.

But the real reason it didn't snow is because I created a detailed snow plan to handle the faculty interview in case I couldn't make it in. The next scheduled potential snowfall is at the end of the week. I don't work Friday, so I've made no in-case-of-snow plans. Therefore, I'd say Friday looks real likely for west-side snow.

Wendy, do you get very many snow days over there? I can only remember one in the last 5 years here and it was for icy conditions up in the hills, not snow. I half hoped for one today with all the snow, but at the same time I didn't need the extra kids around :)

They never called, Lisa? Hmm, seemed like they contacted the rest of the planet - Oh well :) They may have discriminated, because I listed you as a "co-conspirator"... LOL, BTD, guess you must have said the right thing. I know they also called my last place of employment and they gave a good reference.

I'm not sure, Brigitte- we homeschool, so I don't pay any attention to that. However, when Tori did go to public school, I don't remember any snow days, even though we had lots of snow at times. Today, the news said busses were running late, but schools were open.

Ours weren't even running late today, all on time. I dread the afternoon commute though by looking at the snow falling right now :(
