Got anything in the Valley? So many of my friends are doing it, I'm thinking about jumping in too...plus, I like...odd pets. Maybe I could tend the spiders, snakes, toads, etc. that others aren't cool with? Of course kitties and puppies are awesome and lovable and I could hang with them, too... :D

Is Hollywood too far of a drive?

Just watched Alton Brown make these gorgeous cookies - basically takes a batch of sugar cookie dough, turns half of it chocolate, makes the other half peppermint, rolls them both out, stacks peppermint on top of chocolate, then rolls the whole thing up into a log, chills it hard, and slices the log to make pinwheels.
