No fair.

I'm so in L.A.! I came home to find a film crew filming in our courtyard.
No one famous.

Just developed a roll of film that has some really good pictures of my wife and me as well as our two cats.

THis is a good thing, I think.. but I am curious as to why you made the note about it.
One has to wonder, or at least I do, how OLD was said roll of film?

Oh man, I need coffee. I feel like I've been hit by a train this morning.
Must be a let down from all the fun over the weekend. Obviously I just need to come back! In the meantime, c-o-f-f-e-e

I was going to make a joke about "what's film?" But that reminded me of a story from library school (so this would be 1996-8). It was the second semester cataloging class and we were going over MARC fields for alternative media and running through various example when one of the women in the class raised her hand and, in all seriousness, asked "I'm sorry, but what is an LP?" I think about 80% of the class (not to mention the professor) immediately crumbled to dust they felt so old.

Geez, '96? That's not young, that's clueless. I mean, I understand when a group of jr. high aged kids this year walked into a room in Chicago's MCA with a floor tiled with LPs and, when asked what they thought they were, responded, "CDs?" But someone old enough to be in library school in the mid-late 90s? I'm likely younger than that person and I grew up with LPs.
