To me, and maybe it's related to me not having a sense of smell, but the memories of the 50th party make my mouth taste those cupcakes again.

"someone," huh? Hahaha, my ex is such a rascal.

Well, our view from the balconies of this party will be from the exact opposite direction. They won't be wide and spacious balconies, and they won't have a fireworks view of Disneyland. BUT ...

the room will be, shall we say, decidedly less cramped than the double bedroom that passed for a suite back then. This suite is A SUITE. It's the Wrather Suite, and its rather sweet, and I'm so excited I just might wet myself.

Based on who the someone was who was taking the morning-after pictures, I am guessing that there were some that were, shall we say, "non-postable"?

I have fabulous memories of the 50th. And easy to remember since I spent about 12 hours sitting at Whitewater Cafe processing all the stuff everybody else was doing.

innerSpaceman 07-14-2010 07:19 PM

Alex, if you leave in the morning, you and Lani could make it to the 55th!

I can't even attend the MousePlanet 10th Anniversary stuff because we have a major product release this weekend at work and I'll be pulling an all-nighter on Saturday.

Plus, as I was saying to someone else today, even after a few years without a serious visit to the park, the thought of going to Disneyland makes me shudder with mild revulsion. I keep expecting the last bite barfs to wear off soon but so far it isn't happening (I don't feel the same about WDW or the other resorts).

I'm so excited! I'm hoping the kittens are okay by themselves... I have a fab dress that I have to alter slightly before Friday evening. And I have to find a hotel, since I don't want to drive home that night!

We have to dress for this event.....yikes!

I mean dress up, just in case Kevy reads this.

Most vivid memory was missing the morning events, arriving late because of comic-con. <sigh> Standing near Mickey in Townsquare with thousands of gold ears around was a real moment though...

the 50th MMC was amazing, also! :)

RStar 07-15-2010 12:28 AM

I was in that MMC event! I was one of the people who turned the giant black Mickey Mouse Ears into a giant gold Mickey Mouse Ears using gold pom-poms! Ah, the memories!
