FHR hasn't been getting a ton of coverage - which I consider good news. Arrowhead is getting most of the coverage. It's really bad up there right now with about 130 houses burned. I don't think any houses have been touched in FHR, but I'm not sure on current containment. It was at 30% contained a few hours ago.
The DC10 is now on it's way to Arrowhead to do a big water drop. |
I left my office a little before 4. The wind had died down a little. When I got home the sky wasn't nearly as brown as it was last night and this morning (from that fire) though it still smells like fire.

They are back in FHR and LF on NBC. Sounds like the danger has passed in FHR for now. Some mandatory evacuations still in LF.
It's headed southwest now. |
Coworker in RSM went home about 3:00 (traffic was a be-atch getting there). He said that things were relatively quiet near him (NE of Santa Margarita Pkwy and the 241)

He is walking back up to his house right now. As soon as I talk to him again, I will update.
