WOW! We blew harder than I thought.

Oh, quiet you. You finished. Anyone who finished did something pretty damned awesome. Hell, anyone that made it half way through did something pretty damned awesome!

This morning while looking at the results at home, I noticed we were actually smiling in our photo at the end. It made me realize that the moment we were announced, I think I completely forgot about the pain for a while. I mean, we were shuffling over the Pirates bridge like a couple of geezers just a little bit before, but I seem to recall moving pretty quickly to get our certificate. Amazing what a little adrenaline can do, eh?

You know, yeah, I'm pretty damn proud of us for finishing and especially for me finishing. One week earlier I had an IV in my arm and I spend most of the week pretty sick. So, personal best - finishing.

Plus, our team played well and had a GREAT time. My muscles are almost ready to give me permission to do it again.

hey, I havent even met you after all these years..and heck! You cant see me in the group shot, I'm just outside the picnic table shots, and in seven MA's have never gotten in a pic that wasnt my team pic.
